About Me:
Olabode Fatokun is a Master's student in Engineering Management. He attended Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife in Nigeria, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Upon graduation Olabode went into the working environment immediately without any career gap where he started his engineering career as a trainee engineer in an Oil and Gas Service Company in Nigeria and presently a senior project lead engineer with the same company, the position who made him more resourceful regarding project planning, organization, leadership and Control this took some few years to achieved, with his interest in engineering / project management, made him to enroll in the University of Idaho for his Master's degree in Engineering Management.
While as a student he served as Secretary General of the student body of the Chemical Engineer society of Nigeria OAU Chapter with an award as the Best executive member 1992, he also served as the Chairman for the Chemical Engineering student week in 1994.
In engineering profession he was awarded the best senior staff employee of the year in 2003 and currently a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineer - an overall engineering body in Nigeria, a member of the National Society of Black Engineers U of I Chapter as the outreach chair and an Academic Pyramid of Excellence (APEX) member of National Society of Black Engineer. Olabode was an ASA constitution review committee member, acted as the Acting President to end the 2008 Ð 2009 executive term and is currently the African Student Association President.
